The official implementation of the international project “Hiking4Understanding – Empowering intergenerational understanding through educational hiking activities” started with the kickoff meeting that was held online from 18th to 19th January, 2024. During the meeting, the representatives of partners reached agreements that will ensure efficient project implementation. The partners also analyzed and discussed upcoming responsibilities and tasks, and agreed on the optimal project management and partner communication tools that will be used.

The “Hiking 4 Understanding” project is co-funded by the European Union and implemented by the Camping Association of Serbia (Serbia), Mountaineering club Strazilovo (Serbia), NGO EcoLogic (North Macedonia) and International network CONNECT International (Belgium). Its main aim is to empower intergenerational dialogue and understanding in Europe through innovative #H4Ueducational hiking programs addressing environmental protection and inclusion.
