The following report presents the findings and insights gathered from a focus group conducted as part of the Hiking 4 Understanding (H4U) project. The Focus group was attended by project partner representatives who shared info about the work of their organizations and offered insights about the topics at the table. Focus group was held on 26th January 2024 via Zoom application.

This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the discussions and insights gathered from participants who have experienced the different activities such as outdoor sports activities in combination with NFE, hiking educational programs, facilitation of intergenerational activities, in particular, based on sport, etc. It highlights the key themes, challenges, and opportunities identified during the focus group sessions, shedding light on the potential of hiking as a tool for
enhancing intergenerational dialogue while fostering environmental protection and the usage of outdoor sports activities for educational purposes.
