From June 18 to 22, 2025, Bajina Bašta, Serbia, hosted the capacity-building training within the “MindPlay” project. The training gathered sports coaches, youth workers, and educators from partner countries with the aim of strengthening their skills in integrating mindfulness practices into sports programs for young people.

Participants were introduced to the newly developed MindPlay methodology, which combines non-formal education and mindfulness techniques tailored for sports environments. Through practical workshops, peer learning, and expert sessions, the training empowered attendees to support young athletes’ mental well-being and reduce the pressures they face in competitive and recreational sports.

The training marks a key milestone in the project’s implementation and sets the foundation for upcoming pilot activities that will take place in local sports clubs across partner countries.
