Yugoland camping rest area is located in Subotica, close to the Horgoš-Roszke and Kelebija-Tompa crossings, which can be reached in 20 minutes by highway without paying a toll fee. The camp includes a spacious eco-park rich in biodiversity – the camping pitches are situated in the shade of various types of coniferous and deciduous trees.
It is separate from the city hustle but well-connected, only 3 km from the center of Subotica, 6 km from Lake Palić and the newly opened Aqua Park, which can be reached by bicycles available for camp guests. Close to the camp, there are supermarkets and a local market, and the camp has a souvenir shop and a candy store.
The 25 spacious camping pitches are named after cities of Yugoslavia, and the camp contains replicas of geographical landscapes – Mount Triglav, the Adriatic labyrinth, as well as monuments to the most significant personalities of the 20th century (Nikola Tesla, Marshal Tito…).
The camp features an open kitchen ‘YU bar’ offering refreshing drinks and the possibility for guests to prepare their own food. For the youngest, there is a large children’s playground, Zip-Line, and a mini Adventure park, fields for football, and beach volleyball. Eco Camp Yugoland has sanitary facilities that use renewable energy sources, a space for emptying chemical toilets, and the waste generated in the camp is sorted, composted, and recycled.
