New camping sites in Serbia

Camping site in Odzaci
State Secretary of Economy and Regional Development, Mr. Goran Petkovic, today officially opened a new campsite in sports, recreational and tourist complex “Strand” in Odzaci. The campsite covers a thousand square meters, and for its planning and construction of access roads, the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development has approved grants totaling 12 million dinars.
Petkovic also visited the auto-camp “Tisa Flower”, the Kanizsa, which was completed first phase of the infrastructure organization for which the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development approved a grant in the amount of 4,000,000 dinars.

The first camping site on Zlatibor
State Secretary of Economy and Regional Development, Mr. Goran Petkovic and Director of the Tourist Organization of Zlatibor, Mr. Darko Djurovic signed a financing agreement for construction of the camping site which will be a total investment of 18 million dinars.
Petkovic said that this is a good development project designed to complement the tourist offer of Zlatibor.
Camping site will be a three star built near the hotel “Zelenkada” on an area of ​​1.5 acres with 70 camping pitches. The project is 18 million dinars worth, of which the ministry approved a grant in the amount of 10 million and eight million secured TO Zlatibor and Regional Development Agency Zlatibor Užice. Completion of construction of modern tourist camping site on Zlatibor is planned for September 2012.

CAS’s initiative is continuing, and especially the increased activity in the promotion of new camping sites and activities to find new, potential mini camping sites in rural households in the region of Western Serbia.
